Privacy notice
Last updated 22 September 2026
This notice explains what happens to personal data when you visit this website or write to us about Rendran. It is short because this site does very little with data: it sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and keeps no database of visitors.
01Who is responsible
This site and the Rendran project are run by Lan RENDRAN_SURNAME, Kostanjevica na Krki, Slovenia. The controller of the personal data described here can be reached at info@rendran.com.
The business is in the process of being registered. Once it is, its registered name, seat, registration number and VAT ID will be published here and it will be named as the controller in place of the above.
We have not appointed a data protection officer; we are not required to. Write to the address above with anything to do with this notice and it reaches the person who can act on it.
02What this notice covers
It covers this website and the enquiries people send us through it.
It does not cover the Rendran application itself. When a customer runs Rendran, the data inside it — their enquiries, their customers, their correspondence — belongs to that customer. We handle it on their instructions as a processor, under the written agreement and the data processing agreement signed with them. If you are dealing with a company that uses Rendran and want to know how they handle your data, ask them.
03When you visit this site
The site is a set of static files served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., on its Pages platform). Like any web server, it records each request. That record can include your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the response status, your browser and operating system string, and the page you arrived from.
- Why: to deliver the site and to detect abuse, attacks and faults.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- How long: for the short period the hosting provider keeps its logs. We do not extract anything from those logs, build profiles, or try to identify visitors.
04No cookies, no analytics, no tracking
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising tags, no tracking pixels and no social media embeds. It stores nothing in your browser. That is why you were not asked to accept anything when you arrived — there is nothing to accept.
05Fonts loaded from Google
The site's typefaces — Barlow, Barlow Condensed and IBM Plex Mono — are requested from
Google's font servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com).
Making that request tells Google your IP address and browser string. Google sets no cookie for
it. This is the one third party your browser contacts when loading this page.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the site rendering as designed (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Who: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
06When you use the contact form
When you press send, the form passes what you typed — your name, your company, your email address, the plan you picked if you picked one, and your message — to a small program running on Cloudflare, which hands it to a mail service that delivers it to our mailbox. The website itself keeps no copy: there is no database behind it.
- Why: to receive your enquiry and answer it.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Who carries it: Cloudflare, which runs the site, and Resend (Resend, Inc.), which delivers the message to our mailbox.
The form also holds one hidden field that a real visitor never fills in. If it arrives filled, the message is discarded as automated spam and is not delivered or stored.
If sending ever fails, the page offers our address so you can write to us directly from your own email program. That path involves nobody but your email provider and ours.
07When you email us
If you write to us — through the form or directly — we receive your name, your email address, your company if you give it, and whatever the message contains.
- Why: to answer you, and to take the steps you asked for before any possible contract.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in answering correspondence sent to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Where it sits: in our mailbox with Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited).
We do not use these addresses for marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list because you asked us a question.
08Who else sees your data
Only the suppliers we need to run the site and our email:
- Cloudflare — hosting, and the program that receives the contact form.
- Resend — delivery of form submissions to our mailbox.
- Microsoft 365 — the mailbox the enquiries land in.
- Google — the fonts request described in section 05.
They act on our instructions under contract (Article 28 GDPR). We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising, or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
09Transfers outside the EEA
Our suppliers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens it is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or by an adequacy decision. You can ask us which safeguard applies to a given supplier.
10How long we keep things
- Enquiries and correspondence: while the conversation is live, and then for 24 months so we can pick it up if you come back. After that, deleted.
- Contracts and accounting records: for the period Slovenian law requires.
- Server logs: for the hosting provider's retention period.
11Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete it;
- restrict what we do with it;
- hand it to you, or to someone else, in a portable form;
- stop processing it where we rely on legitimate interest — you can object at any time;
- stop processing based on consent, where you gave consent, without affecting what was done before you withdrew it.
Write to info@rendran.com. We answer within one month. It costs you nothing, and we will not ask you to justify the request.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Slovenian supervisory authority: Informacijski pooblaščenec, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia — gp.ip@ip-rs.si, +386 1 230 97 30, www.ip-rs.si. You can also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
12Changes to this notice
If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. There is no archive of older versions; if you need one, ask and we will send it.
